I (Ms. Kari) am a natural mentor/coach who enjoys watching others be inspired while their confidence grows;
if there is project you would like to work on and need help getting out of first gear, I'd love to bounce ideas & create with you!
Art Lessons w/ Ms. Kari:
Ms. Kari provides all the necessary tools to grow and enhance the hidden talents in all who have the drive to learn and seek their creativity. She utilizes her Montessori & Covey theory of educational knowledge during every lesson. “One does it with their hands, by experience, first in play and then through work. The hands are the instruments of human’s intelligence.” -Maria Montessori. Creating art is a beautiful process, and when one becomes an active creator, they start to feel grace and ease within themselves.
Every lesson is created with the mentality of “Begin with the end in mind.” -Stephen Covey; during the Introduction/Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced lessons, the artist and Ms. Kari will be looking at the same inspiration photo(s). Together they will identify the elements & principles of art, sketch, draw/paint the foundation of the art piece and then evolve the talent as they work with the medium creating their picture from the artist’s inspired photo(s). Ms. Kari works at the individual’s creation pace and the path (or order) in which they’d like to learn about the mediums; the curriculum is written as the lessons progress. “Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender, it’s holy ground. There’s no greater investment.” -Steven Covey. It has been proven through many practices that greatness is achieved over time. Whether the lesson is an individual private lesson or a small group with 2-8 artists, Ms. Kari’s lessons are designed to show growth through the process, not just the product, with each individual.

• mentoring, building and enhancing the developed basic skills to create confidence, grace and ease within the artist as they complete masterpieces.
All lessons are 90 minutes; sold by the lesson, not a time-frame.
* 2 people minimum for class to launch, otherwise considered a private lesson.
